I don’t think folks realize just how close the Hawkeyes were to being undefeated at this stage. They dropped a pair of close ball busters early on. Kind of start many teams would have let ruin their season.  Not Iowa. Props to Kirk Ferentz and his staff. Since that sluggish start out of the gate this Iowa club has steamrolled Michigan State, Minnesota and Penn State. Nebraska struggles mighty to stop the run and that does not bode well against this Iowa team that is fully capable and relishes playing physical on offense. Tyler Goodson and Mekhi Sargent look to have huge afternoons. While I do expect Nebraska to play better than that pitiful showing last week in the huge loss to Illinois make no mistake about. Iowa should continue to own this rivalry winning their sixth straight against the Huskers. Nebraska still gets love from odds makers because of their pedigree. I say the hell with that. Unless Iowa has a shit day turning the ball over they should separate in the second half and pull away. I’m going triple here on the resurgent Iowa Hawkeyes.
