I'm on the over in this one tonight. Utah had some question marks about who might be playing in this game. Wittingham said about 70% of his roster is a go. That was a few days ago and now this line has dropped to USC -2.5 at most shops. That's an indication to me that Utah will have a full compliment of players for this game tonight. Utah might take a pass first approach here with a running back by committee. Utah had a good idea who the QB would be and the Utes had plenty of time to implement an offensive game plan. I'm not high on the USC defense at all. I do however like to see that USC has been throwing the ball a ton the first two games of the season. Slovis has 99 passes in just two games and if USC wants to win, they have to do it with Slovis and that USC wide receiver core that is rather talented. Utah lost a ton of defense from this team as they only brought back 2 guys who started last year. So my gut says Slovis and this WR core will eat tonight. On the flip side Utah has talent on offense and with this line dropping, my gut says they all play. I think we see less running with this Utes team under Wittingham. I think we see a shoot out tonight. USC defense looks to be bad and that alone has me thinking shootout because of the USC offensive firepower.
