This is a weird game guys. This can go two ways. If it goes the way, I'm thinking we win and cover for sure. If I'm wrong, the Lakers lose outright. The Nuggets sit with #3 seed. a win or lose doesn't move them at all fro the #3 seed. What it does do is it gives the Nuggets the flexibility of who they might want to face in the playoffs if they in fact lose. Now it's a 50/50 shot they lose and then get to choose if they want to remain the #3 seed or drop to the #4...We also have this scenario. Nuggets win here and beat Clippers in the next game and take over the #2 seed. My gut says that won't happen. Clippers are going to play that game like a normal game. I also think the Lakers play this game like a playoff game. The Nuggets also will play a Raptors team in the final game of the regular season according to schedule...So if the Nuggets set them set themselves up for a win or loss to determine who they play, only a loss here can help them. Injuries do happen and if the Nuggets play things out correctly, they will be able to choose..I'd much rather have that luxury. Nuggets are also down two key starters in Barton and Harris...So i still think the Nuggets are out-manned here. AD will have to cover up on Jokic and or Porter this entire game and they are the Nuggets biggest threat along with Murray. I think on any normal day, the Lakers are -5.5 points favorites. The Lakers also have a game to end the season against the Kings who are done and out of the playoff chase..So the Lakers will want a real test and this has to be the game before the playoffs start. Ya gotta wonder what that double OT game might have took out of the Nuggets and i would classify the Clippers who are ahead of them by only a game to be a look ahead game. So everything says play the Lakers here that this game might be close for a while, but if the Lakers play tough, the win and cover..If the Nuggets give up and say, let's pick and choose, Lakers win and cover..If the Lakers go out and say screw it, let's just play in the playoffs, the Nuggets will win outright maybe. It just seems to me that the Nuggets have a solid 80% to lose by a bunch here.
