At some point the Rockets offensive game plan is going to backfire on them. It will be in certain games against a certain style of team. I think the Blazers might be a bad match-up for them. Rockets thrive on the 3 ball and the FT line. Rockets yet again got out rebounded by the Bucks int he last game by 26...Yes by 26 and still ended up beating the Bucks..Why?....Rockets +10 at the FT line and they made 12 more 3's....So the Rockets in those two area's were +21pts....Well that kinda helps to offset the rebound disparity. I don't think Rockets will win any rebound battle tonight with Nurkic and Whiteside clogging up the inside for Portland. We also have three gunners for the Blazers with Lillard, McCollum and Carmelo...So the Blazers can match the Rockets with outside shooting. I think it comes down to which team can play better defense at the 3pt line. Another thing to note about the Rockets..They were +11 and +14 in turnovers..I think it's hard to ask them to duplicate that again along witht he FT line + and the 3pt +....Blazers were the #5 in turnovers..So very good there...3pt%...#3....great.....Rebs #11...not bad....FTA #23..not good but, FT% #5 which helps in that area...I just don't see how the Rockets can duplicate all those things they need to win games..I think this is a bad match-up for the Rockets..I'll take the +4.5 here and I'll sprinkle a little on the ML as well....Rockets with a look ahead Vs. Lakers next.
