This entire situation with the restart and bubble is different. Had you faded the teams that played in their 2nd game yesterday, you would have went 3-0. One thing I noticed with those teams is the offenses looked sluggish and tired. Lakers 92 points. Jazz 94 Points. Pelicans 103 points. We now have two teams coming into their 2nd game and they are now playing head to head. So will we see this lackluster below avg offense from the teams normal avgs on offense is the question. I believe we might..We also have to consider defense. Those teams allowed a bout a normal amount. Pelicans 126...Lakers 107..Jazz 110. That seems about normal to me for those 3 teams..Nothing too crazy. The Mavs gave up 153 points to the Rockets in the last game..A game in which they had control of and ended up losing. Mavs were up 6 with 1:37 left and end up losing the game. That's bad defense and allowing 153 tells us that. I believe the focus for the Mavs will be defense first here. Suns are coming off a win. Now the Suns need to win out, but they still have hope of something crazy happening. It's literally like a 1% chance tho. Still, I think they might come out and play some defense as well or the offense might be sluggish as we've seen in teams 2nd games. So although the Mavs scored 302points in the last game, everything says the trends fro the most recent data points to under.
