I'm playing on OAKLAND. The M's took last night's series opener, handing the A's their third straight loss. I expect some payback this evening. The A's are a dominant 67-38 against southpaws the past 2+ seasons. During that stretch, they were also 13-7 when attempting to snap a 3-game skid. While Fiers wasn't that great in his first start, he was better than Kikuchi. The M's lefty enters this game with an ugly 12.26 ERA and 2.452 WHIP. Expect the A's to provide Fiers with plenty of support, bouncing back with a much-needed win.
