I can only look to the Angels here tonight and I suspect they win by margin. Heaney looked rock solid his last time out, but they pulled the string on him early. He was strong in his season opener as he pitched 4 strong inning and allowed 0 runs, had 6K's and didn't walk a batter. I love the fact that Rendon is back in the lineup and the Angels hit the ball last night..I fully expected that as we had a 3* on that over last night..One of the encouraging signs is the Angels lineup all got in the mix last night..Pujols went yard and a bunch of players had contact when they needed it. Angels are a different team at home in my eyes..Seattle has been struggling with the bullpen and I feel strong they do again tonight and the starting pitcher isn't exempt either..Mariners will go to the young kid Justin Dunn...He doesn't have a ton of innings at this level and some of the bats he will see will scare him tonight...Going up against Trout, Rendon, Pujols and Upton might shake him up a bit..I expect that and his walks will end up getting the best of him at some point. He's making his first start in the majors. I think it's going to be a rocky one. Mariners are looking at this as a very long preseason to get a solid look at guys for the future. No AAA ball this year, so the Mariners have to check out every guy. Getting them to play at this level is a benefit for them in years to come. I just don't see how this bullpen and starting pitcher match up against a Angels team who is hitting right now. I think Heaney will be strong once again and the manager won't pull the plug on him so early like he did in Heaney's first start...Angels might put up double digits again.
