Injuries set them back in early January as the team lost 3 straight games with the low-point being a 19-point loss to Air Force. However, they are now playing well again thanks to the return of 7-foot center Neemias Queta (11.1 ppg and 6.5 rpg). His presence inside will be key here. San Diego St is honoring Kawhi Leonard at halftime of this game (retiring his jersey) so I expect a raucous atmosphere at the Viejas Arena. However, with a guy like Kawhi in the house sometimes that can lead to extra distractions or even some nerves among the Aztec players. Remember the Aggies were 2.5-point favorites hosting San Diego St less than a month ago. It seems like you're starting to pay a premium on the unbeaten Aztecs.
