We use 3 CBB Models, all developed differently to pick different ways. They help us SPOT Potential Totals and all 3 have agreed that this number is too high. It is not the only thing we use but it is a starting point. We also use techniques that as far as I know have not yet been discovered by others including books. While these are not fail proof techniques they have been very profitable over the last few years. We also use offensive and defensive efficiency numbers, pace, projected pace, venue trends, league and division trends, injuries, along with other more "Standard" Handicapping Principles to get our final number and possibly make a play rated at 1* 2* and 3*.
This number opened lower and has been on the move upward. That is good for us since our Models all have this one lower that what the current number is and for a lot of other reasons we love the UNDER as well. It's time to play. Strong Trending here for us with all 5 True Road Kansas games have gone UNDER the Total. The Jayhawks play very good D and are less than Pacey compared to most teams. Ok State likes to run the court when they can but KU is very good getting back after missed shots. The Cowboys play pretty good D her on this court allowing just 63 PPG and while on the road KU allowing just over 57 PPG. This number is going to be TOO HIGH many more times than not and the reason why you can play 3* here at your best number down to 132. It could possibly go higher than what is posted but we are putting this one out there now..
