Despite being 11-3 SU, Seattle is 11th in the NFL in point differential. All season they have struggled to win by margin, winning only one game by a touchdown or more (yes, it was against Arizona). The Seahawks are playing for a potential bye week, but one can’t help to wonder if it’s a potential look ahead spot, as Seattle plays San Francisco for the NFC west title in week 17.
Despite the reputation for a dominate HFA, Seattle is 6-10-1 ATS as a home favorite over the past three seasons. The Cardinals roster is not phased by playing in Seattle, as they have won three of their last four games and last year only lost by 3 in Seattle despite being the worst team in the league. The Cardinals are 8-4-1 ATS as an underdog this season. If we need a back door at the end, Arizona is more then capable of getting it. They are 10th in the NFL in fourth quarter scoring while the Seahawks have the 30th ranked fourth quarter scoring defense.
Seattle was missing SIX defensive starters to injury in their last two drives against the Panthers (which they allowed two touchdowns on). It’s early in the week so we don’t know the status’ of all of them, but if we get 3 or 4 of them missing, this is a TREMENDOUS bet! Even if some starters come back healthy, I think this is a very good bet.
I like this down to 7.5, but I expect this line to close lower, so grab 9.5 now!
