I'm on this over tonight...The first meeting between these two teams the total was 145...second meeting was 142...Both games went under..So why the over here...Well the 2nd meeting was in St. Mary's which had a much slower pace. This venue is a place in which both teams have played. It seems as if teams are scoring well at the Orleans. My think is both teams play fast here tonight. Gonzaga looks to push the pace and they will make St. Mary's keep up with scoring. Good thing for both teams is they shoot a very good % from the floor...My feeling is Gonzaga tries to blow past St. Mary's and the score gets rather high.
I can get into the stats and all that jazz, but this game goes under if Mary's runs the pace they want and they play lockdown defense. It goes over if Gonzaga controls the pace. Both teams score at a high rate though because they shoot so well from the floor. I've watched both teams the last few games and it's gonzaga that will control what St. Mary's does. If Gonzaga plays to how St. mary's plays, they could lose this game and they'll want to avoid that. look for Gonzaga to come out running and gunning from all over the court. Free throw line will be key for us tonight as well.
