Loyola Chicago is STILL living on last years' tournament run. They're a 15-9 team that's played three teams in the Top 100 and lost all three. Losing both Richardson and Ingram from last years' team has proven to be just too much to overcome, and they have just two road wins this season. Of course, they're better than Valpo, but if the best team always won this would be easy. They are not a good rebounding team, get too many shots blocked, and are not a great FT shooting team - all things that I can't back on the road. This is also an in-season rematch of a game LC beat Valpo badly on the road, and that's obviously something I've been using for years. Valpo can struggle to score, but in MVC play this season they've got the #2 rated defense in terms of efficiency, and #1 interior which is where LC likes to play. They're off a nice road win at Illinois State, and it seems like they're learning to play without Ryan Fazekas - who actually MAY come back today after missing eight games with an ankle injury. So, if he plays Valpo wins this game easily and if he doesn't, well, they probably beat LC based on all the aforementioned stuff.
