High total here but I feel this is the only way to go...One thing I tend to look for is what can we use for both teams that increases scoring. What I mean by that is what areas are filled in by wither team. We need a good free throw shooting team. Well we got that with Monroe who ranks #3. We need 3pt shooting. We get that with Monroe who ranks #14. FG% offense we got that with Southern who ranks #5. We need bad defense and we get that with both..Southern ranks #306 and Monroe ranks #238...We like poor 3pt shooting % defensive teams...Monroe #257....Blocks we want low..Monroe #314...3pt FG % offense..Monroe #14.
I'm not going to kill you guys with the stats today, but we get the areas we need highlighted for basically every stat category..So I'm very happy with what I see stat wise...If I can pull one negative out of the stats it's the fact that Monroe plays at a pace of #216....Which they are home here so pacing would favor the pace they run, but Southern is the #13 team in the nation is pace..So I still feel we win this are, but this game at Monroe is my real only worry.
I like the last games for each team here as well...Both teams combined last game scored 185 points total.
I just don't see enough to get me off this over. It's high, bit it's high for a good reason..Close line as well, so don't rule out an OT game either.

Nets -8.5....I said before the season started that the Nets were my dark horse team to make the playoffs...Well sure enough this team sits with the #6 seed..Not to mention a big lift for them with LaVert coming back within a few days. Look the Bulls are a candidate for the tank right now. Clearly 5 teams want no part of winning..I mean the Knicks and Suns are losing games right now on purpose...Bulls got nothing right now and they should be looking to fade away for the lottery.
