I'm not buying into what people think about these two things. Facts is it's still early and things don't always look as good or as bad as they seem. Take the Lions for example last night. They really aren't as bad as they looked for the first two games. Tampa isn't as good as they have looked either. Pitt has had some negative things against them the first two weeks and they have no wins to show for it as a result. My concern for Tampa is simple. When has this team really been pushed this season. They haven't they've jumped out to big leads with these haymaker plays and they've connected. Good for them, but at some point those big bombs are going to dry up. They are also running off adrenaline right now. Pitt will push them in this game and I'm sure of that. I can see the adversity or the pressure getting to Tampa at some point and they will have a adrenaline crash and those haymakers will fail to land. Tampa also has a very shaky rush offense. Pitt has the QB and the WR's to push the Bucs to the brink on the defensive side of the ball. Tampa has some injuries on the defense as well that would concern me. The Bucs are the flavor of the league right now and Pitt needs to get back on track and win a game. Pitt on defense has allowed a bunch of points and I'm sure both sides of the ball had some very acute attention during practice all week. I'm not certain Pitt brings the A game for this one, but I bet it's pretty damn close. Pitt rolls Tampa in every area. The line is wrong and this one ends Pitt on top 30-23.
