Analysis
I don't really expect, although would not be shocked, if this one ended up a blow out similar to last season when the Tide rolled all over the Rebels to the tune of 66-3. Yes, we had a triple on the Tide and loved every minute of it. Of course that was last year and if it has any bearing on this seasons game it likely would serve as ample motivation for Ole Miss. Normally I would weight that into my cap but here is the deal. Nick Saban and the Tide expect AND get the other clubs best shot week in and week out. There is not team in the land with a bigger bullseye on their backs than Bama. They are that game circled on the calendar. So I do not anticipate Saban having his team subject to a ambush here. Laying these kind of points to Ole Miss shows the respect I have for them as well as the odds makers. I know these points will hold of lot of allure to many bettors. Probably the same ones as last year. You can analyze these games to death but the bottom line is unless the Tide have one of those freaky turnover nights they should once again take care of business here for us. We cashed with them when they crushed Louisville in the opener and we cashed again last week when the rolled an Arkansas State team better than most realize. I am not jumping off here. Yes, it could be a dangerous spot, any road game in the SEC can be. Add to that the Rebels have no bowl chances this year so this is likely their biggest moment. I get all that. Problem is once they kick this thing off the Rebels have to have enough sand in their pants to hold up to Bama over four long quarters. I am skeptical. A lot of props were flowing when they went into Texas Tech and handled the Red Raiders. I picked the Rebels in that one. Texas Tech and their defense is like toilet paper compared to this monster unit they will be going up against Saturday night. NO comparison. Both teams wear uniforms and helmets, after that the comparison gets a little sketchy. Tua is an great QB with the real potential of being amazing. Anyone who can unseat Jalen Hurts as the starter, well, that says it all. I personally think he will light up that secondary of the Rebels. The Tide can run, throw, and defend. Boring but oh so true. This is a machine. Ole Miss is a good SEC football team. I do respect them. Scottie Phillips is a legit back, but this week against that Bama front. I am not looking for a ton of production. Here is the bottom line. You clearly see where this is going. I am going large with the Tide. They will have to labor to ply their trade more than any other point thus far this season but Saban will have them ready. Ole Miss will be fired up and the crowd will likely be in a frenzy. All that is great. But then we get back to my original point. At some point these two teams will butt heads for four long quarters. Too much of everything here. Tide roll, again.

Many sincere thanks as always guys. Best of luck to each of us and enjoy the game. ADDED NOTE: I figured this number might creep north. Well it has. I fully expect a comfortable cover here. IF it reaches over 24 then play it as a double. Thanks again.
