Obviously not a high profile game but a good number here with the Rangers and Mike Minor at home against the Angels. Minor has been more than solid of late and my trust in him is decidedly stronger than Andrew Heaney. Might surprise some but the fact is the Rangers have been effective taking care of business at home when squaring off against losing ball clubs winning a solid nine of the last twelve in that spot. Plus, against the Rangers Heaney has had five starts and comes in sporting a lofty 7.88 era. He's also only won one lousy game on the road. Does not inspire much confidence here, particularly when you factor in he has drawn Minor as his opponent and Minor has been dealing of late. Angels have also only won three of their last thirteen games when going up against west opponents. Add it all up and I see only the Rangers here at home with Minor as the right side far more often than not. I'm willing to go triple here with Texas.
Thanks as always guys and best of luck to each of us. Enjoy the game.
