Even at 8 it's a go. A push not a loss if it comes to it, which I don't think it will. I like to look at overs when Bumgarner is pitching for one reason - he's one of the best hitting pitchers in baseball, an of course when he PITCHES people assume he's not going to give many (any) up. Face it, he's not what he once was, and the A's are hitting everyone right now. When Bumgarner, like Kluber last night, misses, it's up. He's still a predominantly fly ball pitcher (again, when not missing bats) so I do expect Oakland to get their 3-4 runs here, if not sooner then later because the Giants pen isn't intimidating. I saw yesterday where the A's had score about 70 runs in the eighth inning this season which is light years more than anyone, so it may not really matter here but it sure is contagious and goes to "not giving up."  Jackson has, in the past, been torched by the Giants. He's also a fly ball pitcher and his recent good fortune just isn't something I see continuing tonight. We've got decent wind blowing straight out to CF, and an Oakland pen that although it's been solid of late, it was used quite a bit in Houston. I've got this a 7-4 type Giants win and may add the Giants, or use them somewhere.
