I'm going with the defending champs here to score a solid win over the better than expected Oakland ball club. The dismal fact is Oakland has only prevailed in two of the last ten games with Bassitt drawing the start. On the flip side Astros starter Lance McCullers has absolutely owned the A's. On top of that the Astros have won now in a stellar seven straight starts, including four in a row with him on the bump, Not always crazy about playing the run line with the home team but will make an exception here. Oakland a pleasant surprise this season but not a good spot for them here, at all. I will bypass the heavy chalk and go run line here.
