The Rockies got to the Giants' pen in a big way on Monday, and with Stratton pitching for San Fransisco tonight the likelihood of the Giants needing that pen is increased. He's only thrown past the six inning once in his last ten starts, and he's not a ground ball pitcher - meaning this is just the wrong venue for him. In fact, in nine innings THIS season Colorado has sixteen hits against him. In 56 at bats lifetime they Rockies lineup has 25 hits off of Stratton. That's enough right there to NOT take the Giants. Stratton, and a pulverize bullpen. Now to Senzatela - since he was sent back to Albuquerque he's been dominant, as he was at times last season. He's thrown 37 innings and only allowed one jack and struck out 42 batters. After losing last night the Giants are 19-27 on the road, and recently having taken two of three from the Rockies at home, Colorado is looking to take this series from a division rival/revenge standpoint, and with Suarez supposedly pitching for SF tomorrow, there's a pretty good chance they sweep.
