We will be on a LOW-scoring outcome this evening in Pittsburgh as Pirates host the Brewers in the final game of their series. With Monday’s Game One going UNDER… and last night’s Game two also going UNDER… we can’t help but note that this Milwaukee / Pittsburgh series has now gone an amazing 5-19-3 O/U in the last 27 meetings dating back to last season. Not only that, but we will be backing not one HOT starting pitcher, but TWO. Pirate righty Chad Kuhl has allowed only eight earned runs over his last five starts, an impressive ERA of only 2.45. He’s allowed only THREE home runs in his last six starts. And his shut down the Brewers earlier this season in may (7 IP, only 1 HIT, 0 earned runs). Meanwhile, lefty Brent Suter of the Brew Crew is off his BEST start of the season. He just went a seas-high 7 innings against the Phillies, and yield only ONE earned run on only five hits. Insight career appearances vs the Buccos, Suter has a lifetime ERA of only 1.80. Sealing the deal will be the man behold the plate. Working Game Three of this low-scoring series will be Man in Blue HUNTER WENDLESTEDT. he comes into today’s game with a YTD record of only 4-10 O/U (7.6 runs per game). That puts him easily in the TOP TEN in terms of UNDER Umpires. He’s also gone 2-7 O/U In his nine National League games this season. He is as consistent as it comes when it comes to low-scoring results. He’s gone UNDER in > 60% of his games in the last 1+ seasons (23-38-9 O/U)… and last 3+ seasons (33-54-11 O/U).
