Cashed another Triple Monday night and I am confident we will once again here. On a nice run with the featured releases having cashed on 6 of the last 7 overall. Reasonable price here with the Astros and McCullers taking the ball. The Astros come into the bay area having now prevailed in five straight games. Also, for what it is worth McCullers has been lights out this season in his pair of starts against this Oakland club going 2-0 with a stellar 1.50 era. Of course, admittedly the flip side to all that is this is the third look this season the A's have had at him and they should fare somewhat better. But frankly I cannot see anything really to hang your hat on if you side with the A's other than being at home. But the Astros have been more than capable all season long on the road posting a strong 23-11 mark, actually better than at home truth be told. Houston for the time being finds itself in a scrap with the surprising Mariners for the division lead. I'd like to take the A's as I generally will take a hard look at home dogs but cannot do it. Mengden has been the absolute last pitcher that Oakland needs on the hill when squaring off against western divisional opponents winning a lousy two games in the last fifteen. Just ponder that one for a moment. Bottom line is nothing much there to support the A's here fellas. I am going Triple star here on the Astros to notch another victory in enemy territory.
