Been many years since we have had a NBA finals series open with a number this steep. Kind of sad when you really think about it. Let me get this on the table right off. Just my own opinion obviously but I firmly believe James is the best player in league history. Yes, I saw MJ play for his entire career. He was a basketball gladiator and this is in no way any cut to him. They are the two best to ever step on the court. But James is the freak of nature. I liked Jordan's personality better but to me James is the best. Period. What he has done to carry this team on his back to the finals is amazing. When I first looked at this number I was frankly a little surprised. Lot of points. Clearly the odds makers are inviting Cleveland money to the window. I hate laying this kind of number to James. I've visited back and forth with some other's who have opinions I respect and listened to them with an open mind as we exchanged thoughts. Most agreed with my own view here, not all but most. This could easily be a game that is close for the majority of play and then the Warriors just go off again. No team can separate in a game as fast as this Warriors club. As great as James surely is the Warriors simply have more legit weapons at their disposal. The Cavaliers if they are smart will try to muck this thing up. They should try to get as physical as they can and actually should try to bait Green into foul trouble. The Warriors have won game one in their post season by an average of 18 points. Of course when you are dealing with a number like this the back door is always a concern, no different here guys. But to me the reward is worth the risk. As much as I really don't care for them, the Rockets were a very good team. When the chips were all on the table the Warriors kicked their asses. Other than the King there is just nobody else on the Cav's I trust enough to bet on here in the opener. James is beyond words amazing but he cannot do this one on his own, not against this Warriors team. I could go on and on but the point has been made. I am personally on the Warriors here at home to set the tone here in the opener. 

To be perfectly candid I have had some great seasons in the NBA wagering. But this has not been one of them. Can't just talk about wins exclusively. That is what the touts do. I have been up and down this entire post season, that is just the truth. So play this, as always, like any triple and nothing more. And as always not trying to preach, only trying to help.
