This total is all wrong..It should be 7 or 7.5, not 8.5....Cards are a good team, but they stink against the LHP...They bat just around .220 as a team and that's not good at all..They rank about 5th to last against the LHP...Cards haven't seen Richard and he is at home and coming off his 4th straight loss...I hate to say he is due, but he is with how he can pitch..Facing a poor LHP hitting team is just what he needs here to get back into the win column....So I expect him to limit the Cards to 3 or 4 runs max...Wainright comes back to the hill and he looked good before his DL stint..Now back healthy, he should be feeling well...Padres have struggled to hit the RHP this year...They bat .225 against the RHP and they are also ranked 5th to last as well facing the RHP...Besides Freddy Galvis and Hosmer, the Padres haven't seen Wainright much..Big advantage here for Wainright. I see this game being as boring as the one from last night..Pitcher duel and low scoring.
