HORRIBLE spot for the Cubs here, who just played their Division Rival, the Cards, and had the misfortune to
1) Have to play the Sunday Night Game
2) Have two short rain delays and
3) Have the game go WAY deep into the night and early morning in a rain Delay
So the Cubs were wrapping up in St Louis at the ballpark past 1AM, they get back to Chicago likely just before Sunrise........
Meanwhile, the Marlins are playing the better ball, and will be very excited tonight vs. a Cubs team likely to rest a starter or two.....
