I'm not looking a gift-horse in the mouth, and there are quite a few tonight. Patience, or fire - that is the question. Revenge here from a HORRIBLE loss to Winthrop on the road earlier this season, and Asheville hasn't lost at home this season - except to a team (Liberty) that slows them down. They're super experienced and although a bit under sized here, Winthrop plays perimeter offense so it shouldn't be a big disadvantage. In Conference play Winthrop hasn't turned people over, which we need to have happen when we back a road team, and they've actually been turned over quite a bit. Asheville has more ways to put the ball in the basket, and is the #1 three-point shooting team at 41% in the Big South Conference. Obviously a huge game because there's not going to be an at-large team here, so more at stake than meets the eye as far as posturing for the Conference Tournament, which Asheville totally boned last year - and I don't think they make that mistake again. I thought about "bigger" here, too.
