My number was 208.5 for this game, so it's an easy call for me to take the over here...Both teams on defense are rather bad...Just on defense alone they are giving up 212pts combined...That's 106ppg...On offense they average 204....So that's 102ppg....Add it up, raw number would be 208...So expect this number to climb up today.
When you look at the player matchups and who they will be guarded by tonight, it suggests we will see plenty of bad defensive plays. I like the 3pt % that both teams give up and the overall FG% they both give up...FG% alone these two teams are in the bottom 4 in that area..So plenty of wide open looks on both sides.
My only concern is if the Kings can break 100pts...I think they can because Minnesota will run and gun and chew the Kings up on the inside with Towns and fall behind..I could see Sacramento firing up 3balls all night long and those shots being uncontested.
I like the fact that we have two of the better teams in the steals dept...Fast break points should come in waves in this game tonight...Both teams will be rested and fresh legs are better than tired legs.
I see this one in that 111-103 area.
