Portland's focus is now on defense or that's what they are saying:

"That let me know that ... we were in our right minds," Lillard said. "We came back really focused and locked in on (defense). Everybody was just on it. And it hasn't stopped."

Many point to the deficiencies of Lillard and backcourt partner CJ McCollum, but the whole team needs to bring a locked in defensive energy. Head coach Terry Stotts knows it’s a team thing: “We have to be better defensively. That's been our Achilles heel. Two or three years ago, when we were a top 10 defensive team, we were an elite team. So that's still important."

CJ McCollum is out for tonight and with that the Blazers will be a more defensive oriented team tonight, with Turner or Connaughton playing CJ's usual minutes.

On the other hand, Phoenix's offense has already showed in the preseason their poor ball movement once again, with only 20, 19, 18 and 17 assists on their preseason games. If the Suns are incapable of scoring on transition, they struggle big time given their lack of ball movement. The match ups tonight also favor a relatively low scoring affair in my opinion: Nurkic will have a fight with a legit 7 footer in Chandler, Bledsoe will guard Lillard and CJ won't be "defending" Booker. So, there's a lot of offensive edges disappearing and so, I'll be taking the Under in here.
