The total on this game makes sense, but I still think it goes over...Big park here for both teams to deal with, but the pitchers have some serious issues overall...Yesterday only 1 run was scored..That won't sit well with any of the players who couldn't hit....Tigers go with Sanchez on the mound and his 7.96ERA...WHIP of 1.96...That very alarming, but he is making another start...He might be able to have some success from time to time, but overall he is going to get hit...I also think he is on a short leash, so the pitchers might only be in the batters box once or twice at most each...Problem with Sanchez is he gives up hits and he serves up meatballs that end up in the seats for the other team..I'll say he gives up a HR here tonight....Lamet goes for the Padres....Same thing with him....He gives up HR's like it's his job..He has played 5 games total and has given up 8 HR's....Now he can strike guys out, but he isn't fooling anyone with his fastball...He throws is often and if a guy connects, it's out of the park...He will give up a HR tonight as well...We have to factor in the bullpens for both teams as well...I think we see them for 3 or 4 innings on each side.....Tigers are dead last with the bullpen and the Padres are close behind as they rank 24th in the league...They might be rested for this game after last night, but it really doesn't matter because they just stink for the most part...We also have plenty of power on each side to get the ball out of the park or extra base hits...I'm not going to say we see a barn burner here, but I think we see enough HR's with guys on base to get it over...I think a 6-5 type of game seems about correct..Might even be a boring game that goes over the total because of the long ball.
