I'm going to play on my amazing Mets tonight....New York hasn't been anything near amazing, but a winner tonight would be nice....New York gets the benefit of being on the road, but not having to travel far...Giants had to play last night in a 3-hr rain delayed game..It was a heart breaker off a loss for the Giants...The road trip for the Giants was terrible netting them just 1 win in 8 games....Now they have to fly all the way across the country after being away from home for 8 full days...No rest for them either from the time they left....So situational handicapping has us on the Mets here for starters....Lugo takes the mound for the Mets and he is a RHP...Giants are about as bad as it gets facing a RHP....Mets will draw Blach who is a LHP and the Mets are avg facing them....Mets lineup should be intact with all the bats tonight...Giants might rest a guy here even though they had a terrible trip...Lugo has a ERA of 2.63, but he has seen limited action...I think he will realize how bad the Giants are first trip through the order...He should be ok for about 6 or 7 innings i think....Blach has a 4.23 ERA...Not a bad pitcher, but has had some down moments...More than anything he seems out of sorts...Some of the things he did well have flip flopped the last two games..So perhaps something mechanical or mental is a miss for him right now...Mets will be looking to get after him and they have some power to get the ball out of the yard...Mets rank 6th in the league in HR's and the Giants rank dead last...The park they play in isn't favorable for a non-power hitting team....It's hard to imagine that the Giants would be this bad this year...The Mets have an excuse as they have been crushed with the injuries..Still the Mets are the better team right now...I favor our pitcher Vs. Lineup and a big positive is the situation....I think the Mets get a W here tonight in that 5-3 / 6-2 area
