7 Pt tease....I thought long and hard about this game....MNF always brings out the refs and the flags...NFL doesn't want some boring blowout game in week 2...Look for the jailbird uniforms to make this game rather close...How close, I'm not 100% sure, but grabbing +10 with Philly looks solid...Talked to a few ppl who really dove into the Philly game..everything i heard was rather positive expect the lack of run game Philly displayed....On the other hand the Bears are coming off a loss against a good team in Houston...Bears jumped out early, but the defense got exposed in the 2nd half of that game..Carson Wentz actually throws a pretty nice ball and his WR and TE's really stepped up for him last week...Big key is the fact that the Philly offense got a good game of reps under the belt against a bad Browns team..I think the mental approach for Philly is to improve this week in practice because they might just think they have a shot to win this game....That's why i think this game is close...Grabbing +10 again makes me feel rather good with that side of the tease...We also will tease the over...35.5....Plenty of key numbers over 35.5...All week need is a few bombs or a special teams scores early in this one...Don't be shocked if this game goes over before the 4th qtr begins...Again, it seems like an agenda on my part, but honestly the NFL pushes the pace of scoring in these games..Especially the primetime games..Go back to last year and the scoring was way up for primetime games..Anything the refs can do to add some point and to make the dog live is always in play on MNF, TNF and SNF....I do have some concerns for the Bears defense..They allowed 344 yards to a Houston that has new players in key spots...I expected the timing to be off for the Texans and it was...So how will the Bears stop a Philly team that played well on offense and scored 29 points last week..Philly will have confidence here and Wentz will be looking to pass to his 4 big targets in Mathews, Agholar, Erts and Celek...Philly also has a few others that got in the mix as well....For the record I'm very low on this Philly team this year, but this is one spot the confidence coming off a solid win can help us get this ticket cashed...This game stinks like nail-biter or OT game....Philly defense didn't have much of a test last week...A few things to note...Eagles gave up 133 yards rushing and 168 passing on only 12 completions from RG3....Those numbers raise a red flag to me...Cutler can be much more effective at home with Jeffery, Royal, White and Zach Miller...Bears have enough to move the ball in this one as well....Bears played a ton of game close last year that they lost...I think they play a ton of close games this year that they will win a few more...Just not by 10 points.
