I'm backing the Angels on Friday night.  LAA couldn't have asked for a better mid-week situation.  They were able to score three runs in the 9th in a come from behind win over Cleveland on Wednesday before getting a day off on Thursday.  The Halos looked like they were going to lose their third straight series before the comeback win and despite injuries and recent struggles at the plate, the Angels enter the weekend just 2 1/2 games behind Houston in the AL West. The energy will be on high.  Andrew Heaney has been tremendous in his seven starts with LAA.  The team is 6-1, including 4-0 at home.  The lefty sports a 1.97 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and .205 BAA, while allowing just three home runs in 45 2/3 IP.  His BAA at home is a stingy, .183.  Orioles' pitcher Kevin Glausman has pitched poorly on the road, especially in his last three road starts and his team has struggled at the plate in road batting average and OBP.  The O's are ranked 24th in OBP against southpaws.  The Orioles are on a 0-6 slide against teams playing better than .600 baseball at home. They're on a 1-5 slide when Glausman starts away from home. I expect LAA to move to 40-15 as chalk and I'm backing the Angels, my Friday Knockout.  Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.
