The line has risen a bit since the overnight line but for good reason. The Nuggets continue to underperform under Bryan Shaw, as the list of former Lakers players turned failed coaches continue. Just because you played and won titles does not mean you can coach. Shaw, Magic Johnson, Rambis, Fisher and Scott just to name a few. Denver was down by 28 last night in Philadelphia of all places and had to fight tooth and nail to make the game respectable. Now on a terrible run the Nuggets must regroup and take on a Boston team playing competitively each night.

The Celtics won at New York last night which isn’t a major accomplishment but overall we like the way this team has been playing. In a year in which Boston is clearly building towards the future the coaching staff continues to get great effort on a night by night basis. Boston is the better team here and the line move is correct.
