Kenneth Faried produced a 13 point, 15 rebound double double in the win and Andre Miller contributed 20 points and nine assists in 23 minutes off the bench.
Philadelphia, after a disastrous 1-12 run, has played better of late, winning three of its last five games. Nonetheless, the Sixers opened their current four game road swing with an ugly 101-72 loss to the Clippers last night. The setback dropped Philly’s record to 26-41 overall and 6-24 away from home.
Denver, which owns a 30-3 record at the Pepsi Center, is 8-0 straight up and 7-1 against the spread in its last eight games as a home favorite with a game total between 205 and 210 points.
