Chan Gailey’s time in Buffalo came to an end at the conclusion of last season after the veteran coach presided over three seasons that produced a total of 16 wins. Bills’ brass elected to replace Gailey with former Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone. Marrone, who worked as an assistant coach in New Orleans prior to taking over the Orange job, guided Syracuse to a 25-25 record in four seasons. While that record may not seem exemplary, Marrone inherited a program that had won all of 10 games in four seasons under the direction of Greg Robinson. Buffalo fans are hopeful Marrone can work some of that magic for the Bills, who have not won more than seven games in a season since 2004. The odds makers at Cantor Gaming are not expecting Buffalo to turn the corner this year, though. The latest NFL Season Win Total for the club is set at 6.5 games and the Under is slightly favored at -120 odds ($120 wins $100).
