San Francisco was the favorite to win the NFC Championship before the playoffs got underway, but most pundits probably envisioned the Niners playing at Candlestick Park through the duration of the postseason.
Despite the Falcons owning the top seed, many believed they would fall victim to a red hot Seahawks team in last weekend’s Divisional round. Atlanta held on, but just barely.
