The
Denver Broncos cruised to their second consecutive AFC West championship last year, winning their last 11 regular season games to finish 13-3 overall and earn a first round bye in the playoffs. The odds makers are anticipating another easy row for Peyton Manning and company again this season as they are listed as a prohibitive -600 favorite to retain their division title. And, despite last season’s home playoff loss to the Ravens, the Broncos are co-favorites (New England Patriots), at +600 odds ($100 wins $600), to win the Lombardi Trophy in the latest
Super Bowl Odds.
According to the recently released 2013 NFL Betting Lines from Cantor Gaming, the Broncos can also expect another double digit win season. Denver is favored in 14 of its 16 listed games (Week 17 lines are not yet available) and it is a touchdown or more favorite in six games (Baltimore Ravens, Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans).
