The defense for this team has been solid this year, ranking 11th in points allowed (98.2 ppg), 27th in defensive FG% and 24th in 3 point defense. 

The Clippers are in the midst of a long home stand, in which they have gone 6-2 on so far. Overall the Clippers are 25-12 and that puts them in second place in the Pacific Division, 5.5 games behind Golden State.  The Clippers are also a solid 17-5 at home this year. The Clipps are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a losing road record, but just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. Eastern Conference. LA has been a solid offensive team this year, ranking 5th in scoring (106.8 ppg), 3rd in shooting, 2nd in 3 point shooting and 16th in FT shooting. Defensively the Clippers have been a bit below average, ranking 19th in points allowed (99.9 ppg), 20th in defensive FG% and 18th in 3 point defense. 

Pick: Let's look at the Under in this one. The Clippers are a high scoring team, especially at home but this Heat team can play some defense as they come in allowing 98.2 ppg overall and 98.8 ppg on the road. The Clippers have allowed just 97.7 ppg at home and the Heat are not a good offensive squad as they come in allowing 93.3 ppg on the road. I can see this as a 100-90 type game.
