Friday Night NBA Chicago Bulls vs Washington Wizards Odds, Free Pick

Friday night NBA and we will see the Chicago Bulls travel to Washington, D.C. to take on the Washington Wizards. The game has a start time of 8:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on TNT. Current Vegas betting odds have Washington listed as 1.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 195.

Analysis: The Chicago Bulls come into this game off a bad home loss to the Utah Jazz. Still the Bulls are 25-11 on the year and have gone a very solid 13-3 in their last 16 games. The Bulls currently lead the Central division by 7 games over the Cavaliers. The Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games, but just 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a SU loss of more than 10 points. Chicago has been a good offensive squad this year, ranking 9th in scoring (102.4 ppg), 19th in shooting, 11th in 3 point shooting and 5th in FT shooting. The defense for this team has been decent this year, ranking 13th in points allowed (98.8 ppg), 4th in defensive FG% and 12th in 3 point defense.

The Washington Wizards have followed up a 3 game losing streak by winning their last 2 games, including Wednesday night’s 10 point home win over the Knicks. The win now has the team sitting at 24-11 on the year, including 15-4 at home, but still they are 3 games behind the Atlanta Hawks in the Southeast Division. The Wizards have gone 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600, but just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 vs. Eastern Conference, while the host is 5-16 ATS the last 21 in the series. Washington has been an average offensive team this year, ranking 18th in scoring (99.8 ppg), 3rd in shooting, 1st in 3 point shooting and 24nd in FT shooting. Defensively they have been very solid, ranking 5th in points allowed (97.3 ppg), 11th in defensive FG% and 9th in 3 point defense.

Pick: Gonna go with the Under in this game. The Bulls have played at more of an up tempo this year, but they do score less on the road than at home and the Wizards have payed excellent defense at home where they have allowed just 95.5 ppg. The Bulls offense has increased, while their defense has also been very good, especially on the road where they have allowed just 95.1 ppg so far this year. Both offenses come in struggling as the Bulls have scored just 97.6 ppg in their last 5 games, while the Wizards have put up just 94.8 ppg in their last 5. The Under is 12-3-1 in Washington's last 16 games after scoring 100+ points, while the Under is also 32-9 the last 41 in the series overall and 18-7-1 in the last 26 meetings in Washington. This one will not reach the 190s.
