Golf's biggest names (i.e. Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott) will not be in action at this week's Northern Trust Open, but the field is a competitive one nonetheless. Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, Bubba Watson, Jordan Spieth, Fred Couples, and Jim Furyk are just a few of the stars taking part in the event. Not surprisingly, more than a few of those names are favorites to win the tournament according to Sportsbook.ag's latest 2014 Northern Trust Open Golf Odds. Johnson, who has one win and three top 10 finishes in four tournaments played this season, is the bookmaker's first choice at +1200 odds.

Webb Simpson and Graham DeLaet are second picks at +1500 odds. Jordan Spieth and Hunter Mahan round out the top five favorites as they are each drawing +1800 odds ($100 wins $1800) to emerge victorious this weekend.

The 2014 Northern Trust Open is scheduled to get underway tomorrow morning at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California. Coverage of the event will be provided by CBS and The Golf Channel.
