College basketball on Saturday afternoon and we will see the Kentucky Wildcats travel to Columbia, Missouri to take on the Missouri Tigers. The game has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on CBS. Vegas odds have the Wildcats listed as 1.5 point favorites, while the total has yet to be set.

Analysis: Kentucky enters this game at 15-5 overall and 5-2 within the SEC. The Cats come in off a tough road loss at LSU, in which they were thoroughly out-played from the start, giving them losses in their last 2 SEC road games. Kentucky has been an offensive force this year, averaging 79.8 ppg, which is 28th in the nation, while shooting 47.2% from the field, which is 52nd in the nation. The offense is led by Julius Randle, who is one of 4 starters to average in double figures at 16.0 ppg, while also leading the cats in rebounding as well with 10.2 boards per game. Defensively, the Cats allow 66.7 ppg (83rd), on 39.3% shooting (28th).

Missouri comes in with a better overall record than the Cats(16-4), but they are a game behind them in the standings with  4-3 mark in the SEC. On offense, the tigers are a solid club, ranking 98th in the nation in scoring (74.8 ppg) and 90th in shooting (46.1%). They also shoot the 3-ball well (36.7%) and are good from the free throw line (72.3%). This well rounded offense isn't really deep as just 3 players average 14.5 ppg or more, while the 4th leading scorer puts in just 6.8 ppg. Leading the team in scoring is Jabari Brown, at 19.8 ppg, while Johnathan Williams leads the team in rebounding, at 7.6 rpg. The Tigers are a very good defensive squad, allowing just 66.7 ppg (83rd) on 38.8% shooting (20th)

Pick: Going with the Cats in this one. They played a horrible game at LSU, but still almost came back and won the game. They will not come out sluggish in this one as Calipari should have them read to go from the start. Missouri has won 2 in rw, but they have been more inconsistent than the Cats and will just not make enough plays to win this one.
