NBA Thursday Oklahoma City Thunder vs Golden State Warriors Start Time, Odds

Thursday night hoops and we will see the Oklahoma City Thunder travel to Oakland, California to take on the Golden State Warriors. The game has a start time of 10:30 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on TNT. Vegas odds have Golden State listed as 5 point favorites, while the total sits at 207.5.

Analysis: Oklahoma City had a four-game winning streak come to an end with Wednesday's 111-103 loss at the Los Angeles Clippers. Kevin Durant finished with 33 points 10 assists and six rebounds, but had 5 turnovers in the game, with the Thunder committing 22 overall, which lead to 24 L.A. points. Russell Westbrook had 19 points and 10 assists, while Serge Ibaka netted 13 points, befre being ejected in the first half, due to a scuffle with Matt Barnes. Oklahoma City fell to 2-2 on the road and will also visit Milwaukee on this three-game road trip. The Thunder have built its early success against sub-par opponents and has yet to beat a team that made the playoffs last season, such as Golden State. Oklahoma City took three of the four meetings last season and has won seven of the last eight against the Warriors, averaging 116.9 points in those seven triumphs.

Golden State is 3-0 at home and has led each of those three home games by 29 points or more before coasting and being able to rest their starters late in the game. The Warriors were able to snap a two-game slide with Tuesday's relatively easy 113-95 triumph over the Detroit Pistons. Stephen Curry needed only 10 field goal attempts to score 25 points and put on a show Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons. Both David Lee and Jermaine O'Neal tallied 17, while Andre Iguodala had eight points, a season-high tying 11 assists and two steals. Golden State has opened its home schedule with three straight double-digit victories for the first time since 1990-91, when the team turned the trick six games in a row. Golden State is just 5-13 against OKC since the team moved from Seattle.

Pick: I will go with the Under in this one. The Thunder played last night so I don't expect them to come out an run in this one. They have to be a bit gassed. We also have a Golden state squad that has played great defense at home so far, allowing just 92 ppg. The Thunder do score 101 ppg on the road, but they only shoot 41.7% away for home. Golden State does score 112 ppg at home, on 54.7% shooting, but can they really keep up that shooting pct? I don't think so. I see this game come in right around 200 at best.
