It is not often a team opens its schedule against its previous season's bowl opponent, but that is exactly what Boise State and Washington will do tomorrow night. The Broncos and Huskies will collide at 10:00pm ET on Saturday night at Huskey Stadium in Seattle; the game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1. The total in tomorrow's game is set at 52.5 points.

Boise State earned its fourth consecutive bowl win last season when it knocked off Washington 28-26 in the MAACO Las Vegas Bowl. As the score would indicate, the game was tightly contested with the Broncos posting 21 first downs and 407 yards to the Huskies 20 and 447, respectively.

The biggest difference in the postseason meeting was Washington's lack of ball security. The Huskies had three turnovers as the usually reliable Keith Price tossed two interceptions. Washington's inability to hang on to the ball negated a rushing attack that churned out 205 yards on 38 carries.

So, despite the positive result for Boise State in the Las Vegas Bowl, it finds itself an underdog in tomorrow's game. The Broncos did lose 12 starters from last year's team while the Huskies bring back 18, and Washington also returns to its home stadium after playing all of last year's games at CenturyLink Field.

Those factors, coupled with the back and forth nature of last year's bowl meeting, point toward a Washington victory, but Boise State is most definitely a live dog.

The Broncos were 6-0 in season openers under Chris Petersen prior to last year's kickoff opposite the Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing. Boise State still covered in that game (+7), though, despite being out-gained by 255 yards.
