The Miami Heat will look to close out the Eastern Conference Finals tonight when they square off against the Pacers at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. This evening’s potential series finale is scheduled to tip off at 8:30pm ET on TNT. The latest Game 6 Odds from offshore bookmaker 5Dimes have the visiting Heat listed as a -2.5 against the spread favorite; the Over/Under is set at 183 points. Indiana and Miami are drawing +122 and -142 money line odds ($142 wins $100), respectively.

As anticipated, the Heat responded in a big way from their Game 4 loss in Indiana as they took it to the Pacers on Thursday night at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami. The defending champs scored a 90-79 victory, pushing the Pacers to the brink of playoff elimination.

The win, which produced the first Under of this series, saw LeBron James score 30 points, grab eight rebounds, and dish out six assists. Udonis Haslem turned in a solid performance as well, posting 16 points on an 8-of-9 shooting effort. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were basically non-factors on the offensive end of the floor, combining for 17 points after hitting just six of their 15 shot attempts.

Indiana’s offense was limited almost exclusively to trio of David West, Roy Hibbert, and Paul George. Those three scored 66 of the team’s 79 points; the rest of the Pacers combined to shoot 5-of-20 from the field.

The Pacers were flat in their first appearance at the Bankers Life Field house (Game 3), but they were coming off a huge win in Miami. That setback (96-114) marked the Pacers only loss in its last four home meetings with the Heat.

The Pacers are a mentally tough team and with the crowd in their corner and their backs against the wall, they should find a way to force a game seven or, at the very least, make this evening’s affair an exciting one.

Notable Trends: The Pacers are 4-1 both straight up and against the spread in their last five games as a home underdog with a spread between 0 and 3.5 points.
