The Miami Heat came in as a +240 moneyline favorite to win the NBA Finals last week; the return is even less this week, though, with LeBron James and company favored at +220 odds to retain their title in the latest Odds to Win the 2013 NBA Finals. The Heat have reeled off five straight wins and, at 34-14, own a 7.5 game lead of the second place Atlanta Hawks in the Southeast Division. Miami also controls the top seed in the Eastern Conference as it currently leads the New York Knicks by 2.5 games in the overall standings. Oklahoma City, the defending Western Conference champion, is a second pick to win it all at +400 odds ($100 wins $400). The Thunder were drawing +500 odds last week thanks to a series of wins and losses. San Antonio is still a third choice to win the NBA Finals, but the Spurs are getting +700 odds this week after registering at +500 a week ago. Tony Parker and his cohorts have won 12 of their last 13 games, which makes the shift in value somewhat strange.
