Hey Ace, please let me try to help you here. It's not personal, just business.
First of all, thanks for sending along that transcript...Tony is always entertaining.
But yeah, I have been in the business, not as long as Tony, but long enough to be able to give out advice.
I would ban you as well. You did not respond properly when Tony gave you a tiny window to plead your case. Yes, what you did was low down and dirty, and that enough would keep me from dealing with you, but then you failed miserably to give him a reason to keep you around. You deposited $50, that is a flag that you are a very small player, and small players that are shady are far from desirable. If you had told Tony that you were just trying things out with that tiny first deposit, but that you are regularly a much larger player willing to deposit $1000, then he might have kept you open. If you had told him that you realized that sports investing was a two way street and that from now on when you saw a game on the board that had already started, you would be the guy that would call right away to inform Tony about that situation instead of being shady and betting on the game instead....that might have persuaded him to keep you open.
But instead, you came across as a shady, dirty $50 player that given the opportunity to come clean and convince someone that you weren't dishonest, couldn't make an argument for keeping your account open. Therefore, you are banned, and Tony and the rest of the industry hopes you have learned a lesson today.
Like I said Ace, this is not a personal attack, just advice from a guy that has seen this situation a ton of times.
Good luck with future endeavors -
