I capped the day for a fast track and firm turf course. There may be rain sometime after 4pm today but let's hope it holds.
RACE 1: 8-5-4...WINNER #8, 2ND #4, 3RD #5...EXACTA $7.40, TRI $23.40
RACE 2: 1-7-2...loss...very odd race run. The speed horses didn't go to the lead and horses that haven't shown much speed were out in front and ran 1-2
RACE 3: 10-1-4-2...loss...bad spill for the #4...McCarthy is having himself a nice b-day gift with 2 straight winners....we finish 2-3-4
RACE 4: 2-7-8-6...TOUGH RACE...WINNER #6, 2ND #2...EXACTA $31.20
RACE 5: 2-4-6...#2 3-1 ML. BEST BET. Has plenty of speed to run at today. Should be sitting 4 or 5 back at the quarter call and then mow them down in the lane after speed fades....BIG LOSER!!!! how do you let stakes winners go on a 23 and change first quarter. unreal. #2 had no chance after quarter pole.
RACE 6: 2-6-1...#2 4-1 ML. 3 yr old debut today and has shown that she can stalk a pace and pounce in the lane. Trainer always gets them ready to roll off a layoff....WINNER #2 $6, $4.20...#6 gets caught at wire for 2nd.
RACE 7: 5-1-3-6...WINNER #1, 2ND #5, 3RD #6...EXACTA $23, TRI $63.20, DD $27.20
RACE 8: 7-8-12-2...loss...I'm so pissed off at myself. I read the #13 as a scratched horse in the morning on equibase and realized he was in when the showed the post parade. I had him in the 3rd position and then moved up horses when i thought he was scratched. my apologies fellas. I was able to at least put a P3 singling him in the 8th. UNREAL. Stupid error on my end.
RACE 9: 3-11-8-1...ANOTHER WIDE OPEN RACE...I really liked the #7 here as she was the only speed but with her scratch, I have no clue who will get the lead. I am hoping the #3 at 10-1 ML will inherit the lead by default...WINNER #8, 2ND #3, 3RD #11, 4TH #1...EX $39.60, TRI $301.80, SUPER $1,742
RACE 10: 7-1-4-9...#7 3-1 ML. Ton of speed to run at here and if he can rate he will mow them down in the lane...WINNER #9...DD $52.80, finishes 9-5-7-1
RACE 11: 5-2-9...WINNER #2, DD $30.60, Pick 3 $123.80, the #4 nipped us late and kills our ex and tri. finishes 2-4-9-5 (9 & 5 dead heat for 3rd)
RACE 12: 4-6-14...I am going bombs away in this one today as the #4 can close to some decent speed, the #6 is 2 for 2 at track and has aggressive rider in irons and #14 is another closer when speed melts down.
RACE 13: 8-1-2...Trying to turn the tables on American Pharaoh here. Think Stevens gets firing line to the finish line this time around.
RACE 14: 2-4-1
as always BOL!!! Let's hit 'em hard today.
