Neat concept this season from Tom and the Pregame team. Always thinking outside the box. Not an easy task but asked what I would suggest so here it goes. Of course I will not include myself in this lineup. That would just be wrong. Like Dave mentioned self confidence is a key, I've had enough long term success with the football that it's no problem. But I won't suggest my own service. This is really not easy as there are many options here and guys I have legitimate respect for.
NFL: Immediately three names come to mind. My friends Dave Essler, Goodfella and of course Steve Fezzik. I have observed Dave and Goodfella for several years now. Most importantly they win. Secondly they are straight shooters. As for Fez, the guy is literally a living legend. I mean the guy won the Hilton contest not once but twice. That is mind boggling.
NFL Playoffs: Those three are obviously still in line but here I will add my good friend Rocky Atkinson to the mix. Rocky is a low key guy who has produced for years. More years than most would suspect considering he is still a young man. He always backs up his opinions with relevant, solid information. I respect his opinion and his integrity is beyond reproach.
College Regular Season: The first name that comes to mind is Simon. I watched him from the forum and how he impressed enough for a good while and how it propelled him into being a paid pro. He deserved it. Ken Thompson is one of the most informed cappers I know of when it comes to the college football scene. Sleepy is there and I think Shaker is one of the most sound guys for totals one could consider if they like playing more of the totals. For west coast action Goodfella is always money. If it involves the Oregon Ducks he seems to always be pure money. No, he does not cash them all but I have seen it for ten years now. That's a good while and should count for a lot.
College Bowls: I would take a real, real hard look here at Stephen Nover. The guy impressed me when I met him in Vegas at the home office. He wealth of knowledge, past and present is unreal. Like talking to a sports handicapping professor. Actually I think the guy did teach some kind of class at UNLV come to think about it. I don't know the numbers but I think he owned the bowls last season.
I feel crappy for leaving some guys off this list. Most because simply, I don't really know all the guys. RJ has done a stellar job assembling his roster. It is the most coveted position in this industry. I can honestly say I have been approached by other sites and have held firm with Pregame. If you are a starter for the Cardinals you don't tend to be compelled to go play for the Toledo Mud Hens. No matter how green they try to make the grass seem.
Football is when the spotlight is at it's brightest in this business. I can't wait. Good luck guys. Can't wait for the Super Bowl and going to watch my Packers play the Patriots. Take care fellas.
