Obviously #1 enjoy the day with family, and eat a lot... but #2 I am in love with a game for Thurs, and no more official posted picks but wanted to share one I am on...
DALLAS COWBOYS pk
(BONUS) DALLAS COWBOYS NFC EAST +400
Bottom line, we saw how much this team changes when Tony Romo plays, they absolutely owned the game against the Dolphins even though the score didn't look so impressive. TOP was so far in favor of Dallas. Romo makes this team far and away the best team in the weak NFC East and to be honest, if they win the division at 9-7 or 8-8 which is what I am expecting, watch out in the postseason. The NFC as a whole is a little off this year, Green Bay will always be dangerous with Rodgers, but I don't like the lack of protection for the QB and the decline of Lacy, Minnesota is a good quality team, but cannot throw the ball enough to beat good teams consistently, the Giants are not very good period, the Eagles are in disarray, the Redskins aren't a good team, Seattle is a bit down this year (maybe a let down year for them), St Louis is a mirror of Minnesota... so that leaves Carolina and Dallas who just so happen to be playing Thursday...
Carolina, in my opinion, is another mirror of Minnesota/St Louis with a superman QB... but how far can Cam bring them on his own? Love the D, love the run game, just think they are a Kelvin Benjamin away from being a serious competitor. Now we have the big game Thursday, the return of Tony Romo will light a fire in Dallas, the crowd will be rocking, the team will play harder knowing they have a guy who can make the throws, Dez will be making plays, Witten will be doing what he does over the middle, and the Panthers will go down for the first time this year, and I don't think its all that close. We know the NFL would LOVE Dallas to win this game and possibly make the playoffs, and every game from here until the end is a must-win for Big D. I despise the Cowboys, I hate Jerry Jones, I am not a Romo fan, but lets be honest, the guy is a top tier QB in the NFL. We see what they are with and without him, he seems to have taken a leap forward the last few years, and at this point I don't think there are many QBs I would take over him that arent named Tom or Aaron. Dallas takes a big step toward the playoffs and the East division with a rousing 31-13 win Thanksgiving day.
