It's NEVER too early to start betting NFL football.
The NFL Schedule is out, and before we even have time to analyze it properly, the Westgate (formerly Las Vegas Hilton) has week one lines up, $5,000 sides. $1,000 totals. I am always impressed at the great job they do at Westgate, however, I am also disappointed that their openers go up 1st as I feel they do a great job dealing sharp lines.
A 1st observation is that the odds makers simply do not like the Arizona Cardinals for whatever reason. Arizona was poised to have a stellar year and win their division in 2014, but then Carson Palmer went down, and later on Drew Stanton. Left with the horrible Ryan Lindley and the even worse Option Logan Thomas, the Cards went from contender to pretender.
One would think that with Palmer back, this team would have high expectations. However, Westgate isn't buying into it. The Saints are only a 2.5 point underdog week one @ Arizona. Clearly, the Westgate folks, despite all the problems the Saints have, feel they are every bit as good if not better than these Cards!
