NEW ENGLAND -6.5 over Indianapolis: Last week the Patriots struggled vs the Ravens, but they always struggle vs them and now they will be taking on a Indianapolis team that they have destroyed in their last 3 meetings with wins of 35, 21 and 22 points in the 3 meetings. The Colts had big wins in Denver and home vs the Bengals in the playoffs, but still I don't feel all that impressed with those two wins as they took on "Big Game Choker" Andy Dalton and a very hobbled and beat up Peyton Manning. Now they face a healthy Patriot offense that has averaged 33.2 ppg at home this year. Not good news for a Indy team that gas allowed 26.7 ppg on the road. An underrated part of this Pats team has been their defense and While they did struggle last week vs the Ravens, they still allowed 18.3 ppg at home for the year. Let's also note that the Colts are a domed team and this game will be played in some bad weather, which just gives the Pats another edge. New England has outscored their opponents by 14.9 ppg at home and I expect them to win this one by at least 2 TDs as well.
Green Bay/ Seattle Under 45: Wet windy weather for this game should really turn it into a ground fest. The Packers will have problems moving the bally on this Seahawk defense that is just playing out of it's mind right now, allowing just 8 ppg in their last 7 games. They did give up 17 last week vs Carolina, but they will be taking on a pretty pedestrian Green Bay offense that has a hobbled Aaron Rodgers. Last week he had good success vs the Cowboys, but this is a much tougher defense with a much tougher defensive front that will get the needed pressure on Rodgers to keep him from having a big day. The Pack will really need to run the ball allot to keep the pressure off their hurting QB. That will help take time off the clock as well. For Seattle, they already run the ball allot and will do so vs a Green Bay defense that has allowed 137.9 ypg on the ground on the road this year. The Seahawks allow just 15.6 ppg at home, while Green Bay has allowed just 23.1 ppg on the road. 28-10 sounds about right for this one.
